Welcome sunshine!

The weather here has been beautiful the last few days!! (yes.. in St. John's, Newfoundland.. believe it or not) So I haven't gotten much done in terms of nail art.

However, my aunt and her two lovely daughters, Phoebe and Mackenzie, came over on Sunday to have their nails done before heading to Cuba :)  (how lucky!) The girls have been featured on my blog before, during our slumber party.

Phoebe chose to have this tutorial recreated on her hands.
The base is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White, I sponged on Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Calypso Blue. The starfish are painted on using Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Kook-a-mango and Orly Coffee break.

I'm so jealous of her naturally long, and super strong nails!

My aunt wanted flip flops on her nails.. and when she saw my seahorse stamp she had to have that too :)

Base is Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Kook-a-mango
I sponged Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed and Insta Dri Lightening on the accent nail.
The flip flops were freehand using Finger Paints black expressionism, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White, Sally Hansen New Lengths City Lights and a couple of rhinestones to top it off :)

Mackenzie just came over to hang out, and all in all it was a very fun day! Now they are all down in Cuba and I'm sure they are having much more fun that I am at work and studying for exams..

  1. I wish I was off to cuba rather than freezing in the cold Canadian spring weather ;)
But these manicures sure reminded me of a nice hot and sunny place. You did awesome! I like the starfish ones ... Your gradient was awesome!

    1. It actually came with a Salon Express beginner stamping kit. There were 5 plates total with small designs like that :)

  3. These all look great but the seahorse against the gradient is my fave.
