Day 7: BLACK AND WHITE nails

One week down, still a few left to go of the 31 Day Challenge, I hope you are all enjoying this as much as I am. Just a side-note, I hit 100 Followers yesterday!! :D I'm so excited I plan on having a giveaway in June once this challenge is done... so stay tuned! 

Today is actually my first day back to school.. I know, summer semester, yuck! But I just finished a 4 month work term and now I'm heading back to classes for the next four months. So, since today is Black and White day I thought it was only appropriate to incorporate back to school nails.

I have seen this "doodle" design on a few blogs, but I originally saw it on mad manis and loved it because it reminded me of junior high school when I used to doodle in my notebooks. The 'Smile' really brought me back! 

So without further ado, I give you Black and White nails...

Finger Paints Paper Mache is the base. 

Blue lines are freehanded with L.A.Colors Nail Art Deco Sky Blue & the doodles are freehanded using Finger Paints Paper Mache Black Expressionism and my trusty nail art brush.

I also give you my infamous right hand (with stubby nails, bc they always crack on me).. my left hand didn't do too bad with the details right? lol  Unfortunately I had a little smudging with the top coat but no biggie..
