Day 9: RAINBOW nails

I have to admit this was my least favourite day so far.. and before beginning this challenge I guessed that this would be my least favourite day of all.. we'll see if that holds true.

As much as I love color I'm not a big fan of rainbows. Even as a child I didn't like to draw them (my arches didn't work out so well lol). I think it's the color combination.. but to be honest I'm not exactly sure why I don't like them.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing the other Rainbow nails for today, I have seen some really creative ones in the past from various bloggers who completed the 31 Day Challenge. Head over to these lovely blogs to see what the girls came up with today:

Now, on to my own creation: Even though it wasn't my favourite, I do hope you like it :)

 I used Finger Paints Paper Mache as the base.
Then I sponged on Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Blue-Away and Gosh Blue Balloon using the technique that Sammy at the Nailasaurus just recently did a post on (Click here).
Then I freehanded the rainbow using the colors in the photo below
and sponged the clouds using Finger Paints paper mache.
