GUEST POST: Veronica from The Gorgeoisie

I am pleased to introduce to you the first ever guest blogger at Kelsie's Nail Files... Veronica from the Gorgeoisie! :D
After both myself and Veronica won Concrete and Nail Polish's nail art contest, Veronica contacted me to see if I was interested in doing a guest post swap with her... obviously my answer was YES!

So keep reading to see the awesome manicure she has for us today and when you're done head over to The Gorgeoisie to see the guest post I did for her! :D

Hello everyone, this is Veronica of The Gorgeoisie, and I'm very pleased to be bringing you this guest post today! If you haven't heard already, Kelsie and I both won the Concrete and Nailpolish's recent nail art contest, which was particularly fabulous because we both really liked each others' entry.

After we won, I thought it might be fun to guest post for each other using the same theme as the contest, which was to take inspiration from each others' blogs. After looking through her fabulous selection of nail art, I decided to use the contest winning manicure itself as inspiration.

Kelsie used the Atmosphere poster below as her inspiration (see post here), and I liked both the mani and the posters so much, I decided to try out the Earth poster.

But rather than try to imitate her approach, I chose to recreate the entire poster in miniature on each nail.

My supplies (starting with the dark orange on up):

-Essie Capri
-Wet n Wild Sunny Side Up
-OPI Need Sunglasses?
-Green was layered... Sally Hansen Jumpin' Jade mixed with OPI Who the Shrek Are You?, topped with NYC Big Money Frost
-The dark green "crust" is Jumpin' Jade mixed with Nubar Noir and a drop of Capri
-Color Club White striper for the lines
-Seche Vite

Congratulations again to Kelsie, and thanks for having me on your blog! Everyone be sure to check out her guest post on my blog as well. It's very cool.
