Caution: contents may be hot

Today's manicure was inspired by my travel coffee mug...

My mom was visiting a couple weeks ago and bought this super cute glass travel mug for me and, being the nail art fanatic that I am, I immediately thought of a manicure! :)

I used a base coat of my go-to white: Finger Paints Paper Mache
Then I stamped with Finger Paints Black Expressionism and BM-301
Half moons were painted using Sally Hansen Insta Dri Presto Pink.

Afterwards I realized that I did the half-moon manicure backwards lol. I was planning to use hole punch reinforcers to do the half moons, but those only work if you stick them on then paint the rest of the nail. (I had a duh! moment). So instead I had to freehand the pink half moons - no biggie, but they weren't as "perfect" as I would have liked. The closer you zoom in on the manicure, the more noticeable the imperfections were.

And here's a full photo of the pretty mug from mom.
Can't you see why I immediately thought of nail art? :)

And one more picture of the mug/mani for good measure :)
