Happy Holidays!

I would like to take a minute to wish all of my lovely readers and their families a very Merry Christmas, and a happy, healthy new year!! :D

Santa was very generous to me this year :)   Today I have for you a sweet and simple manicure to accompany my Christmas haul post.

Presents! Once again inspired by the Nailasaurus (seriously need to stop being such a copy cat now).

I used Jordana Ruby Slippers as my basecoat for my new Cult Nails Bitten. Then I stamped the ribbon bow from BM-317 using special black stamping polish from then added ribbons using Jordana Black. I painted a thin inside line of the black lines using a new pier 1 imports polish Platinum Spark. And topped it all off with Seche Vite.

And you may be wondering why my photos are so much better than usual? No? I finally got my hands on a new camera!! :D  Santa brought me the Olympus Pen mini for Christmas… and while I’m just getting used to the manual focus and various other settings on it, it is still significantly better than the old camera.

I’m only going to show you my Christmas haul that is relevant to the blog… so I of course had to include the polishes I got… There were only a few… but my sister got me the Behind Closed Doors collection from Cult Nails!! :D

Bitten, Disciplined, Coveted, Afterglow, & Flushed

And one of my aunts got me these three lovely colors from Pier1Imports among a few other goodies :)

Platinum Spark, Iridescent Moon, & Vibrant Teal

I have really been relaxing and enjoying the holidays at my parents house. My mom, sister and I went skating on the lake and my grandmother is visiting for a few days.. it is a much needed vacation from the chaos of work/school. I still have a few manicure ideas I will be working on over the next few days and I have been racking my brain for new years ideas.... stay tuned!
