I am so so happy to have a very talented blogger featured here today! When I first started my blog, this girl very kindly offered me some tips/tricks and was a huge inspiration for me (still is!). AND... I've had the pleasure of meeting her in person! She's a fellow Newfie blogger... so I had the opportunity to meet her when I bought a few polishes from her ages ago :)
So without further ado.. I present Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails!
Hello Kelsie's Nail Filers! I'm Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails and I'm excited to be posting here today for you while Kelsie is on vacation.
Did you know that Kelsie and I live in the same city? Pretty cool! I've never been to the part of our province where she is now though, too cold for me. (Actually it is too cold for me here, too. Remind me why I don't live in Florida?)
While Kelsie is off frolicking in the winter wonderland that is Labrador, I decided to do a bright and summery mani to warm up her blog a little!
Tada! I may have went a little dot-crazy. (And please excuse my little boo-boo... Winter is not being nice to my cuticles. Again... Why aren't I in Florida?)
For this mani I used the three polishes from Zoya's Mod Mattes trio: Zoya - Phoebe (blue) Zoya - Lolly (pink) Zoya - Mitzi (green) I love how quickly matte polishes dry - no need to wait before you stamp on top of them! I wanted this mani to be glossy though, so I added my favorite topcoat, Seche Vite.
I just recently got some plates from Mash that I wanted to try out, the dot image comes from Mash-48. I did the stamping with Konad Special White polish and added the extra dot details with a small dotting tool (and lots of patience.) Here's how it looked before the added dots:
I hope you guys liked my summery dots, and a big thanks to Kelsie for asking me to help out here while she is away! Hopefully she's having a lovely time doing whatever you winter-loving people do while I sit here in my heated blanket and dream of Florida. At least I have my nails to keep me warm...
So cute! I am having a wonderful time doing what winter-lovers do... especially considering the city I live in is usually wet and miserable compared to the mountains of powder snow I have here :)
I want to say a huge thank you to Rebecca for taking the time to do a post here for me today, maybe her summery dots will inspire an early spring :)
