Review: Born Pretty Store Rhinestones

Hello ladies. Apologies for drifting off this past week since I've gotten back from my week vacation. It's been tough getting back into my regular schedule and catching up on missed school work. But I'm back and have a few manicures lined up for the next day or so. I'm hoping to start working on another video tutorial in the next day or so too :)

For today I have another review from Born Pretty Store... you know that online shop where you can get tons of awesome nail art supplies for cheap that I'm always raving about :P

This time it's their multi-size rhinestone wheel :)
*Warning this post is pic-heavy*

Another 3D nail art item I rarely use. This nail art wheel comes with 3 different size rhinestones, and tons of them! It retails for $3.88 with free shipping!

Now on to how I used them! :)  (There are two different looks so keep reading)

This look was my favourite of the two, but the photo doesn't do it justice.

I started with a base of Finger Paints Tiffany Imposter (a more blue-ish dupe of China Glaze For Audrey).

Then I added Finger Paints Cerulean Seascape using a nail art brush for the outline and the regular polish brush to fill-in.

I top coated this look with Seche Vite and added the rhinestones...

Unfortunately this manicure didn't last 12 hours. The rhinestones fell off in my sleep... I woke up and my sheets were covered in them. Note for next time I will use my rhinestone glue.

Now this next look was the first manicure I use the rhinestones for.. but I wasn't fully pleased with it...

I added top coat to the rhinestones and in person you could see all of the bubbles and top coat piled up around them. I'll know for next time not to do that.

The blue is Essie Bikini so Teeny and the silver glitter on the pinky is Essie Set in Stones.

Again you can get this rhinstone wheel HERE.
