GUEST POST: Ariel from Lacquer, The Best Medicine!

Today I am letting Ariel take over!! (You'll see why)

Hi Everyone!

My name is Ariel, and I am the girl behind the blog Lacquer: The Best Medicine!

I was so excited when Kelsie asked me to help her out and guest post for her, because I LOVE her blog and all of her manicures she features on it.

Usually, when I am asked to guest post, I struggle to come up with a design that is guest-post worthy...but not this time! I have been wanting to try out a "Pinterest-famous" mani (it's literally ALL OVER Pinterest, LOL!) inspired by the lovely @noemihk on Instagram for SUCH a long time - so here it is! Enjoy!

I started with three coats of Julep Joelle and two coats of Julie G Rock Candy (Frosted Gumdrops Polishfrom Jesse's Girl Cosmetics on my accent nail. I then applied two layers of Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat to make sure my nails dried to a smooth finish.  Once that was dry, I used regular scotch tape to tape off part of each nail and then applied the white polish to each nail (OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls). Once THAT was dry (tape manis take a LOT of patience!!) I again taped off a smaller portion of each nail and painted the second color on top of the white (Aly's Dream Polish Tiffanytea and Zoya Trixie & Julep Joelle on the accent nail). I topped everything off with one more coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl. WHEW, that was a lot!

What do you think? I absolutely, positively LOVE the way it turned out. You KNOW I love it when I am willing to keep a glitter polish on my nails for a few days despite the terrible removal process! =P

I hope you enjoyed this mani - I definitely did! =P There's a lot more where that came from, so feel free to follow me however you please! ...

STUNNING!! Don't you all agree? Many thanks to Ariel for taking the time to do a post for me while I am away. I'm also going to have to give this manicure a go sometime (it's been ages since I got out the scotch tape). Stay tuned for more guest posts this week :)
