Regardless, I took a look at the Polish Pals Facebook page and immediate fell in love with Jenna's work... and she has been kind enough to share that with us today...
Hello, hello everyone! It's your Polish Pal, Jenna and I'm super excited to be a guest blogger for Kelsie today.
For the last month almost, we have seen pink, purple, and white nails galore! Don't get me wrong, pink is one of my favorite nail polish colors but it's finally time to step outside this Valentine's Day manicure world and into something more classic. ;) Today I have for you a simple polka dot mani because no one can argue with a cute dotticure!
And of course, once you get to know me, you'll realize quickly that I ADORE nail art bows! They add so much charm to any simple design.
I used What A Broad by Sephora for my base color and used white acrylic paint + a mechanical pencil to add the dots. :) Isn't this plum absolutely gorgeous? And then I sealed the design with Seche Vite plus stuck on my rhinestone bow.
I know that we are supposed to be finished with the whole purple color scheme but this plum was calling my name! Besides, this isn't the 'right Valentine's Day purple' shade anyway. ;)
Here is one last photo of my purple polka dot nails with an awesome polka dot bag. Hehe... I see this bag as inspiration for a future mani. (I can see it now! Silver with a variety of black polka dots... mooohaha!!)
Thank you again for reading my post today and I hope you all liked my dotticure. Sometimes simplicity is the best! ;D Find more of your Polish Pal on Instagram (@PolishPals) and on my blog (polishpals.blogspot.com -- you can just link this to 'blog' :)).
Your Polish Pal,
"Sometimes simplicity is the best" that statement made me giggle because my friends often tease me when I call manicures like this "simple" because to them it is anything but simple.
And I agree in this case, it is gorgeous! And little did you know that purple is my favourite colour (at least for the moment)
A big THANK YOU to Jenna for taking the time to do this for me, it really is lovely! And don't forget to head over to her blog or Facebook page and follow her! :)
