Leopard Gradient

This look was from early last week. I've been lacking quite a bit of my own inspiration lately and school has been kicking my behind so this look was inspired by @linnails1 on instagram.

Polishes used: OPI Black Onyx, Don't Pretzel my Buttons, and Essie Little Brown Dress (in the gradient), stamped with MASH-40 and mundo de unas black stamping polish.

Black and White Gradient with Stamping

^ Clearly lacking some creativity with naming blog posts.

This is another manicure from the vault while my nails regrow... I think I'm addicted to long nails now I can't seem to settle for anything less :P

This was a fairly simple look, OPI Alpine Snow, and Black Onyx gradient, stamped over top with Mundo de Unas white stamping polish and BM-408

This upcoming weekend is a long-weekend for Canadians... it's Thanksgiving! So I intend to catch up on some much needed beauty rest/relaxation, and blogging... stay tuned!

Sunshine, Daisies, Butter Mellow

For those of you who follow my Nailpolis account, you may have seen this look already :)

I was fortunate enough to win a giveaway that Beyond The Nail (a lovely Canadian Indie polish brand) hosted on instagram ages ago, and I have finally gotten around to putting the blog post together...

I started with a base of Spring Yellow Creme (and just looking at these photos make me miss my claws that are taking a while to grow back)

This is two thin coats with no top coat. Lovely formula.

I then applied the funky chevron BTN vinyls to each nail and added the grey...
To add to the grey-yellow contrast I used Cult Nails Faded, and then BTN Scattered Holo Topcoat.

Topped it all off with Seche Vite and voila!

Review: Born Pretty Store Rhinestone Picker Pen & Rectangular Plate Set

This product is genius! Personally, I adore using rhinestones, but they are frequently a nightmare to lay out on my desk (without ending up on the floor) and then pick up and place properly on my nails.

So when I had the opportunity to review this product from Born Pretty Store, I couldn't say no.

These are a set of 3mm rhinestones from Born Pretty Store as well, I purchased them myself ages ago (and couldn't find the original link for you guys, sorry).

This little plate and rhinestone picker make rhinestone placement for nail art super easy! Pick up yours today at Born Pretty Store for $2.98 with free worldwide shipping!

And 10% off with my coupon code (should you wish to place an order)
